I see this often: children with IEPs or BIPs a mile long who are really suffering from a lack of structure and accommodation at their current school. There are wonderful private schools that may seem unreachable, but the right one can provide the right education — mentally and emotionally — for your child. Don’t settle. Do your homework. Common questions
When should we start the search?
Ideally 12 to 18 months before the school year you’re targeting. But I’ve helped families on much shorter timelines. The honest answer: call as soon as you’re starting to think about it.
Do you only work with private schools?
No. I work with public, magnet, charter, parochial, independent, and specialized schools. The right school for your child is what matters — not the category.
Do you work in LA or Chicago — or both?
Both. I started in LA and recently expanded to Chicago, so I have on-the-ground knowledge of schools in both cities. If your family is moving between them, even better — I can help with the transition.
How do fees work?
Every family is different, so I price every engagement individually based on scope. The first phone call is always free — we’ll figure out together whether I’m the right fit.
