Comprehensive Consultation
A comprehensive 1-hour consultation is the ideal starting point for parents who need help navigating an educational pathway for their child with preschool, public and private school options, as well as special learning choices, and who have questions regarding the admission process.
We will advise regarding parent resources and established best practices designed to help children develop the kinds of skills and knowledge that appear on the WPPSI, WNSA, NNAT, OLSAT, and other entrance tests for private and public school admission. We also offer consultations for parents seeking to solve current and existing school-related issues.
In addition to academic and test-prep tutors, we have developed an extensive network of highly-regarded physicians, occupational therapists, speech and language specialists, social language therapists, psychologists, and tutors who work with a range of barriers to academic and social success.
Guidance Plan
The Guidance Plan includes the initial consultation with parents plus our work to provide the family with a comprehensive list of schools where their child has a true potential to be successful and to be accepted.
We will meet the student, review school records and educational testing, and have conversations with teachers, coaches, tutors, therapists, and other adults who may contribute to the full concept of the student.
This plan is a good option for parents who feel confident in managing the admission process on their own. Sometimes parents begin with a Guidance Plan and later progress to the more comprehensive Placement Plan. In such cases, the Guidance Plan fee will be applied to the cost of the Placement Plan.
